                   Apocalypse Rising

           At HQ , Monday, December 28, 2434, 12:30 PM

     "Carter where are you, I just raided the bandit camp from to the East. WOW, did they have a lot of ammo and food or what!  Carter?" Said Aden as he looked for Carter.  *hears scream 50 yards in front of him.*  Aden hurries over and finds a zombie trying to bite Carter, *Aden Shoots zombie.*  "You all right? It sounded like that zombie scared you."  Questioned Aden as he helps Carter of the ground.         

       "Ya, he popped out of nowhere and jumped me, thank goodness you got back from the raid.  By the way, how was the raid?"                                                    

        "Great, I gained a lot of supplies, plus only had to fire 3 shots before they ran for the hills."                    

        "Great, sounds like luck finally is on our side for once," exclaimed Carter. "Dude whats that? Let me see that! You got ooze on your jeans."   

      "What are you talking about?" Asked Carter. 

       Then out of nowhere a dog jumps out of the bushes and says. 

      "Hello, my name is Dax. You may be wandering why I'm talking, well it's because I was a science experiment gone wrong. When I was a puppy I was being used as a lab rat.  Do you remember when the government announced that they can bring things back to life? Well around that time they were also working on a new super weapon to use in wars, let's just say I can only die from poison and can talk." 

                   "Hi? I'm Aden and that is Carter." Says Aden a little confused.

                             At HQ, Monday, December 28, 2434, 9:30 PM

            

             "So that is your story Dax?" 

            

             "Yep, also I can smell your friends wound and I know   where the antidote is."

          "You do?  Will you take us there in the morning?"

     

          "Ya, definitely and also, can I stay with you for a while? I'm on the run, I sort of broke out at the military base in the city." Said Dax.

       Out side of security wall, December 29, 2434, 8:30 AM

         

          " Sir I'm going to need to see your identification card!"  Commanded the security guard.

          "We need one of those these days, sorry officer Pety."

          

          "Come back once you get one and it's pronounced Peto."

         

         Out side of security wall, December 29, 2434, 9:30 PM

    

          "You ready for this guys?"  Whispered Aden Cautiously.

          

          "Ya, I guess."  Replied Dax and Carter in unison.

          

           Aden, Carter, and Dax snuck past the sleeping guard and went towards the hospital stopped as a flame thrower tank went past.  As they went towards room 36b they ducked behind a wall as a scientist walked out of the bath room.  " Wow, that was close,"  said Aden as he wipes the sweat from his head.
              
           "Grrrrrr, Grrrrrr."  Growled Carter as he started turning into a zombie.
  
           "Snap out of it!" Exclaimed Aden as he slaps Carter on the face.  " Dax go get the antidote, I'll deal with moldy flesh here."

           "Sir yes sir, I'll be back in a flash." Shouts Dax as he runs down a hall.  As Dax hands Aden the antidote Carter comes at them and then Aden, right as Carter is about to bite him, stabs the antidote in Carters neck and carter passes out for five minutes.

         Out side of city, December 29, 2434, 12:00 AM
       
         "Where almost out, hey where did Dax go?
         
         " I don't know, he'll show up a some point, right?"  Said Carter as he looked around.  Out of no where bandits jump out of the bushes by the road and start shooting at them.  As Aden and Carter hold them off so they can't get close enough. Dax comes around some houses.  Nobody could see him, but he a strait shot at the bandits.  Then Dax jumps out and goes taring throat after throat out of the bandits until only one stood.  " See, what did I tell, he'd come back."  Joked carter as they walked back to the camp.
